Jennifer Love Hewitt looked ultra comfy in a pair of velour pants and a baggy long sleeve shirt as she headed to a gym in Studio City, California on Tuesday, August 24th, 2010.

The petite actress has been keeping quite busy since the ending of her hit CBS show, Ghost Whisperer was cancelled. She has starred in the Lifetime Original Movie, The Project List where she played the role of a mother turned prostitute. Two weeks ago she tackled the role of a battered rape victim for a guest spot on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Up next for J Love is a role in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie for CBS called ‘The Lost Valentine” which will co-star Hollywood “IT” girl Betty White. She will star as a reporter who profiles a woman (played by White) whose husband was declared missing in action during World War II.

Shooting will begin this Fall in Hotlanta and will hit the small screen in early 2011

Photos coming tomorrow.

Jennifer Love Hewitt sure knows how to show her nieces and nephews a good time before they’ve even arrived. The actress threw a baby shower for her sister-in-law, Michelle, July 31 in Beverly Hills.

“I love to plan parties,” Hewitt told OK! Magazine. And it seems she did a stellar job: the party featured photo booths and make-your-own onesie stations, in addition to a cake in the shape of a Kewpie doll.

The menu included finger sandwiches and cupcakes with baby-bootie designs, in addition to a babyland buffet of candy and cupcakes.

Hewitt, who will be a first-time Auntie, included a display of items family and friends from out of town had sent to the mom-to-be, and guests took home gift totes and bedazzled pacifiers. “We wanted them to feel pampered and good,” she said.

As for kids of her own, Hewitt told OK!, “I love babies, I love kids, I’d love to be a mom eventually.”

But for now, it seems she’s all set for Savvy Auntiehood – don’t forget to throw yourself a DebutAunt Ball to celebrate, Auntie Jennifer!

The Lost Valentine tells the story of a journalist (Hewitt), who is “working on the profile of a woman (White) whose husband was declared MIA in WWII.” Break out the hankies, boys and girls. That Snickers Super Bowl commercial, this will not be. If you dig sad love stories or the the work(s) of Nicholas Sparks–is it plural if every story is pretty much the same?–then you’ll probably like this one, which premieres in early 2011 (close to V.D., maybe?), and is itself based on a novel by James Michael Pratt.

Ending all speculation, Jennifer Love Hewitt confirms that Alex Beh is her man! Wearing no make-up, the thirty one year old Texas native held hands with her new beau as they strolled down the street in New York’s SoHo neighborhood on Friday, August 13th, 2010.

Rumors that the bootylicious babe had started seeing the actor/director began at the end of July. On the same day news broke, she had been spotted having lunch with her ex-boyfriend and former co-star Jaime Kennedy but it seems it was only friendly.

J. Love has been busy the last couple of weeks shooting scenes from her guest spot on Law and Order: SVU. She is set to play a rape victim who is so scarred by her attacks that she is afraid to leave her house.

Photos coming tomorrow.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is back at CBS — and she’s bringing along media superstar Betty White.

Hewitt and White are set to star in the “Hallmark Hall of Fame” movie “The Lost Valentine,” set to air in early 2011 (if the title’s any indication, perhaps in February). Hewitt will also exec produce the movie, which will shoot in Atlanta this fall.

Based on the novel by James Michael Pratt, “The Lost Valentine” will star Hewitt as a journalist working on a profile of a woman (White) whose husband was declared MIA during WWII.

Darnell Martin (“Their Eyes Were Watching God”) will direct the longform; scribes Ernest Thompson and Jenny Wingfield are adapting for TV. Joining Hewitt as exec producer is Brent Shields; Andy Gottlieb and Barbara Gangi are producers.

A bloody and battered Jennifer Love Hewitt was snapped on the mean streets of New York Monday, but she’s only the victim of a good make-up artist.

Hewitt was filming on location for her upcoming guest appearance on ‘Law & Order: SVU.’

In the harrowing storyline, Hewitt plays a traumatized woman named Vicki who’s been raped multiple times and becomes too terrified to even leave her home.

The 31-year-old beauty has taken some dark roles lately–from victim to vixen–since her dearly departed CBS show ‘Ghost Whisperer‘ was canceled in May.

Good girl Hewitt recently upped the risque factor by playing a hooker in the Lifetime original movie, ‘The Client List.’

Looks like Benson and Stabler (Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni) have their hands full on this 12th season of the ‘L&O’ franchise favorite. In addition to J.Love, the spin-off has landed a laundry list of guest stars, such as Maria Bello, Joan Cusack and Henry Ian Cusick (’Lost’).

The two-hour season premiere of ‘Law & Order: SVU’ airs Sept. 22 at 9 p.m./EST on NBC. Hewitt’s episode of ‘SVU’ airs the following week on Sept. 29th.

TV’s Betty White-a-Palooza continues with yet another high profile gig for the 88-year-old tube icon. This time, it’s a serious dramatic role, in a made-for-TV movie costarring Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Variety reports that White and Hewitt will star in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie for CBS called ‘The Lost Valentine.’ Apparently, there are no hard feelings between Hewitt, who’s also executive producing, and CBS, which dropped her show ‘The Ghost Whisperer’ in May after five seasons.

‘Valentine,’ based on the novel by James Michael Pratt, will star Hewitt as a reporter who profiles a woman (played by White) whose husband was declared missing in action during World War II. (And who better to locate a presumably long-dead lost love than Hewitt?)

The film will shoot in Atlanta this fall and will air in early 2011. (Sounds like the network is planning a February sweeps airdate around Valentine’s Day.)

Darnell Martin (‘Their Eyes Were Watching God’) is directing the made-for-TV film. Adapting the book are Ernest Thompson (‘On Golden Pond’) and Jenny Wingfield. Hewitt’s co-executive producer is Brent Shields, with Andy Gottlieb and Barbara Gangi also serving as producers.
